Swearing in Arabic sounds so pretty and eloquent, though. Hell, even translated, it's almost like you're being nice. Kinda like a southerner saying, "Bless his heart..." except they say something about Allah. Can't remember.

Sorry about being on hold. May I suggest "munopsera" from the Greek, which means "crotch fly"? Or "xemasaliari" which means "jawless wonder"?

well, um no. not all arabs are Muslim. like my family. we're orthodox christians. Allah is usually a referance to the Muslim God.

i just rember my great grandmother going off in arabic, and the gutteral sounds are so intimidating when there is a stern voice behind them. i was just thinking it might help me to navigate through morons better if i start going off at them in an intimidating language from a culture that tends to spark fear in most americans these days. that and, dude, i AM arab. my cousin is learning arabic in college (our parents refused to learn it from our grandparents growing up, but in the last year i've learned that my mother understands some of it due to being yelled at in arabic by HER grandparents all the time. (my great grandparents)

That's why I switched to RCN - it saved me a lot of money as well. The only problem thus far has been the service was slow for awhile (I suspect due to Comcast's obnoxiousness they have been adding customers faster than their servers can be upgraded, but its alright now). You might want to look into it.

well, no. RCN has been around ALOT longer than comcast. the reason they are cheeper is 'cause generally, their service sucks. that's the one thing about comcast, their service has been reliable when they aren't screwing with me. i had RCN service at one point. and for internet, comcast is still worth the reliablity and speed i'm getting. however, where i'm haveing issues is with television, and people quoteing me sucky prices. and the fact that they can't get anyone to come out and fix a problem on that same day, while, i know, they are laying off workers. but i'm not ready to switch back to RCN. i guess i would have to check out their pricing on cable television and availibilty that way.

Contact me privately about this.

I did work for the company briefly and Ro still works for them.
Provided you let us know what's wrong, it's possible that either myself or Ro might be able to give you some idea of the best way of dealing with 'the system' and getting your problem resolved with a bit less stress.
