| | ecstatic | ] | Friday we picked up my engagement ring from the Jewler. It's ended up being too big, and we'll go back in next week for them to put a larger bridge in (it fit perfectly both times we went in before it was complete. I have no idea what's up with that.) but otherwise I love it. The stone is SO blue -- this picture doesn't do it justice.

Sweetie! That is gorgeous!!!
Once again, congratulations!
Sparkly and unique, in other words, very you.
It looks pretty. Is it nice and sparkly in the sun?
(I have a minor problem of wanting to reach for a laser pointer when I see gems like that :)
Congratulations. I wish you a whole lifetime of joy; you deserve that.
Pleased you went with a sapphire as well. So pretty, and very traditional. You can see a pic of the one I gave Amanda at https://picasaweb.google.com/laurion/OurWedding#5257049580608099330 (I have a better one somewhere, but not handy). Being a Vet who works with her hands a lot, I gave her a flat set stone (I had the jewler replace the small diamonds in the channels around it with CZs, because we don't support the diamond industry). Congratulations, I really like the lozenge shape to your stone. And it looks like it will nestle up against a wedding ring perfectly. :D
