I got an A in Abstract Algebra!!!!
I want the rest of my grades NOW! (It might be as late as the 20th before I find some of them out)
That sounds like a hardcore course. Congrats.
Wait. Ok, fine. You know Erik and Morgan and the Mason types. I knew that. But nchanter
is an entirely different friend group.
See that icon?
That's my world shrinking. Again.
I know Kris originally from people I went to high school with. Random, huh?
Yea, I've known Frommy for, oh, 4 years or so now? Christ... that's a fairly long time...

Nice Box! ;p
Congrats on the goodie grades there nchanter!
I'm very tempted to ask, "How'd you manage that?" but I won't. :-) Isn't that nice of me?
I actually thought I was gonna get a B 'cause I didn't turn in a few assignements. Mostly 'cause It got to the end of the semester. But I aced both my exams, and, apparently, did well on my project... That and I was like one of 2-3 people out of a class of 14 who actually understood group theory.
But I'm really surprised at the A. This is a course, after the first day of class, I went to the professor and said "well, I think I'm in way over my head, but, um, as long as I pass it I'll be happy with that, and it seems kinda interesting."
So yea, pleasant surprises there... and I did do most of my work, really I did, and I did all of the work for my three other classes, so that's really what's impressive...
Congratulations again! You may be surprised, but I have no doubt you deserved it.
That and I was like one of 2-3 people out of a class of 14 who actually understood group theory.
I know that this is true. But I just don't get it. I mean, what is so fucking complicated about group theory! It's the simplest mathematical concept EVER. Practically by construction. ... ... GAH! I'm rendered incoherent.
Anyway, congratulations! That's awesome.
[ if you're looking for more math and enjoyed algebra, I recommend Number Theory. ]
Very nice. Hard work all worth it?
I knew it smart and sexy.
Excellent work! I'm sure your other grades are good also since you are a brain!!!
That's great! I took Math for Poets here because I didn't want to deal with 'real' math classes. :P
Congrats! Let's hear it for Abelian rings!

(with a name like Abstract Algebra, it sounds like an "A" sort of course... :)
Got your other grades yet?
