School is kicking me in the ass. Possibly in a good way. The alarm going off at 6:30 less good. But I can guarantee y'all that I am going to be less social than I was last semester. If it's important, and you ask me, I'll probably show up, and I'll probably still do diesle, but if it's on a school night you can pretty much count me out. And I'm getting tired earlier on weekends too.

And the allergist called. All my bloodwork came back fine, except I'm "apparently" allergic to cashews (dugh) pistachios (not surprising) and mangos. They all come from the same type of tree. Explains why I've never really had an urge to eat a mango, and is a good thing I didn't eat them at dinner with Zeph and her mum.

Mangoes are actually a problem for a lot of people-- there's a chemical in the pulp that's a skin irritant for a lot of people. The rash is affectionately known as "mango smile" because of the appearance if you get it by eating a slice of mango. (I get it sometimes.)

I need to see an allergist about my recentish dairy problems...

Out of curiosity, what school are you at?

I'm at Lesley. I really do like it there. classes are engaging (for the most part) and the students, while often a little obtuse, actually know how to read and write well enough that i don't feel like a grad student in a class with sixth graders. Plus, not nearly as many icky boys = way more women who are likely to be into girls!
