So for my lit class I have to see a play live and write some sort of paper about the experience. So I'm going with my lit teacher and people from class and dragging darxus tomorrow to something at the Boston Playwrights Theatre at BU. Permanent Whole Life is the name of the show. It sounds fun and dark.
Friday I'll be hanging lights at CSW for their first ever (possibly annual?) Faculty Dance Concert. I'm getting $$ to do lighting design. Go me. The thing is Friday the 18th and it's FREE. It will be a variety of dance forms (Including a Contact Improv piece) and I'm lighting the entire show. Never done that before for dance. Should be fun, even though I'm bitching about having no time next week. I'm designing a show in a week. Off of video. Y'all are welcome to come. Darxus will be there, and I'm only LD and not SM so I'll be in the audience so you can sit with us. Lighting use to be a huge part of my life. Well, more accurately, theatre in general. I'm sure I'll muse more on that later this week as I get thrown back into it.
Saturday I'm going to the MFA with supercheesegirl to look at old things. Really. I have to for my World Civ Class. Look at three pieces/artifacts from one civilization that we have learned about. Paper is due Tuesday. Goddess, this semester has gone by fast.
So yea, I'll be steeping in culture this next week. Not to mention I need to write for the writing group Annie dragged me into. I could get away with not, but I have some ideas, or some thoughts, some scenes, so I should get them down before I lose them...
Off to schedule for next semester!
