This is the week of crafty doom. According to UPS tracking information, my boxes of pillow forms have been "scanned out for delivery," So hopefully I will see them today. That's a whole day early :-) My living room (which, no, hasn't been appropriately set up yet, why do you ask?) is covered in fabric. I have 16 14" pillow tops completed. I'd have 20 if I hadn't totally fucked up measurments on a set of 4 earlier this morning. Note to self: do not calculate mesurements and start cutting BEFORE caffine in the morning. It will only end in heartbreak. I hope to have 35-45 by Wednesday evening. Which is totally doable if I stop fucking up.
Are you confused as to why I'm crafting furiously? asciikitty and I, with long-distance contributions from pyrite and corruptviridian, are participating in a craft fair on Saturday. People should come! It's at the Park Avenue Congregational Church, 50 Paul Revere Road in Arlington Heights, from 10am to 4pm.
In addition to selling pillows, I'm also going to have Mini Art Quilts for sale. "Mini" reffers to any quilt two feet by two feet or under, and are typically displayed on walls. I do hope to get some pictures of my work before Saturday, for those of you who are too far away to show up. But pictures never do such things justice. ;-)
